This coffee comes from the highlands of Aceh in northern Sumatra, centered around the renowned Takengon growing region. Traditional wet-hulled processing gives the coffee its classic Sumatran character, producing a full-bodied cup with earthy complexity, chocolate, and aromatic spice.

Tasting Notes
At medium roast levels, the cup is balanced and full-bodied, with a touch of lemony acidity up front followed by aromatic spice, baker’s chocolate, and earthy, slightly peaty notes. The result is a smooth, complex cup with the distinctive character of a traditional Sumatra.
