This coffee comes from the highlands of Aceh in northern Sumatra, centered around the renowned Takengon growing region. Traditional wet-hulled processing gives the coffee its classic Sumatran character, producing a full-bodied cup with earthy complexity, chocolate, smoke, and spice.

Tasting Notes
At darker roast levels, the cup becomes full-bodied and smoky, with baker’s chocolate, earthy depth, and lingering aromatic spice. Acidity is very low, while subtle peaty notes add to its classic Sumatra character.
