East Africa Nya-Nye SWP Decaf is a decaffeinated blend designed to preserve brightness, fruit clarity, and complexity even without caffeine. Using the Swiss Water Process (SWP), this coffee maintains integrity and nuance while removing ~99.9% of the caffeine. 

Origin Details:

• Varieties / Cultivars: SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru 11, Bourbon types 

• Regions: Nyeri, Kenya & Nyamasheke, Rwanda 

• Elevation: high elevation East African lots (typical for those regions, supporting acidity and clarity)

• Processing & Decaffeination: Washed (wet) processed, then decaffeinated via Swiss Water Process 

• Farm / Blend Notes: Roughly two-thirds Kenyan AB with Rwandan lots, chosen for their sweetness and ability to hold character through decaffeination 

Tasting Notes:

This medium roast decaf delivers a layered, expressive cup. You’ll find bittersweet caramel up front balanced with vibrant citrus (think lemon squares) and subtle fruited brightness (apple, peach, berry). Underneath, dark cocoa and molasses lend depth and weight, while the finish offers a lingering chocolate stout character. Light roasts emphasize acidity and liveliness; darker roasts deepen body and bittersweet tones.
